Anne Philomena (Phil) CREED

Phil Creed, recent resident of Hillview Nursing Home died July 31st 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved wife of the late James and much loved mother of John, Séamus, Pádraig, Mairéad, Kathleen and Tom. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, sons-in-law Jimmy and Philipp, daughters-in-law Caron, Tina and Amparo, grandchildren Aisling, Niamh, Seán, Aidan, Chiara, Giulia, Mario, James, Fionn, Saoirse, Róisín, Liam and Séamus, sisters-in-law Peg, Betty and Marie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Eileen MAHER (née Pender) 10 Cedar Park, Leixlip, Kildare / Bennekerry, Carlow

Eileen MAHER

Eileen passed away peacefully in the loving care of Management and Staff at Ryevale Nursing Home, Leixlip, County Kildare. (formerly of Ardnehue, Bennekerry) Beloved wife of John and mother of only son David, his wife Nicola and grandson Dylan. Predeceased by her sister Maura Duigan and brother Daniel Pender. Sadly missed by her sisters Catherine, Collette and Philomena (USA) brothers Frank and David, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Catherine Doodys’ house, Ardnehue, Bennekerry (Eircode R93 E0 P8) on Friday from 3 p.m. concluding with prayers at 8 p.m. Removal on Saturday (1st. August) at 1.30 to St. Marys Church, Bennekerry arriving for Mass at 2 p.m. Interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Theresa Griffin (née Haughney) of 44 Staplestown Road, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on July 23rd, 2020, at her home

Beloved mother of John, Colm, Orla, Shauna and the late Brian and much loved grandmother of Lily, Aidan, Elliot and the late Henry.

She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Anne and Elaine, Orla’s partner Maria, Shauna’s Partner Tadgh, brothers, sisters, extended family, relatives and friends.

Tony SHANNON

Tony Shannon, formerly of Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare, Retired Teagasc, died July 7th 2020 peacefully at home. Beloved husband of Gretta and much loved father of Gearóid. Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter-in-law Michellé, adored grandsons Cian, Conor and Cillian, sister Sr. Teresa (Australia), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, former colleagues, many friends especially those in Carlow Golf Club.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11am for family and close friends in The Church of the Holy Family, Askea, Carlow followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Patrick (P.J.) BYRNE

Patrick Byrne, formerly of Hacketstown died July 2nd 2020 (unexpectedly) at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin aged 47years. Predeceased by his father Patrick (Patsy). Sadly missed by his heartbroken mother Bernie, step-father Liam, sisters Jordana, Donna, Sinead and Louise, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Sunday morning at 12noon for family and close friends (maximum of 50 allowed) in The Church of the Holy Family, Askea, Carlow followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
