Michael MOORE 25 St. Patrick`s Avenue, Carlow

Michael Moore died peacefully surrounded by his loving family and the wonderful staff at the Sacred Heart Hospital. Sadly missed by his loving sister Eveleen, sisters-in-law Peggy and Ann, nephews Gerard, Michael and P.J., nieces Ann and Breda, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, great-grandnephews, great-grand nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow from 7 – 9 pm on Monday and from 2pm on Tuesday followed by removal at 6.20pm to Holy Family Church, Askea to arrive for 6.30 pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11 am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to The Friends of the Sacred Heart Hospital.


Mary (Molly) DOYLE, Rathcrogue, Carlow

Mary (Molly) DOYLE

Peacefully at her home after a short illness. Predeceased by her husband John (Jackie), son Pat, daughter Helena and twin sister Kathleen. Sadly missed by her loving family: sons Tim, John, Michael, Martin, Brian and Brendan; daughters Mary (McGurren), Catherine (Barron), Bernie (Ware), Martina (Lowry) and Anne; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Madge and Bridgie, niece Patricia, nephews Pat, Michael and Tim, daughters and sons-in-law, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at her residence, Rathcrogue on Saturday from 2 p.m. with Prayers at 9 p.m. Removal on Sunday morning at 9.20 a.m. to St. Josephs Church, Tinryland arriving for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Breda SOMERS (née Broderick) 10 Bullock Park, Carlow

Breda Somers died peacefully at the District Hospital. Beloved wife of Pat and much loved mother of Mark, Declan and Keith and dearest grandmother of Ben, Ruth, Jake, Kate, Niall and Ciarán. Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers Tony and Des, sisters Lil and Clare, daughters-in-law Helen, Niamh and Caroline, extended family, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at her home from 4pm on Thursday concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am in the Church of the Holy Family, Askea. Burial afterwards in Bennekerry Cemetery.

Jacinta BERMINGHAM (née Brennan) 36 Springdale, Tullow Road, Carlow / Castlecomer, Kilkenny

Jacinta Bermingham, neé Brennan, 36 Springdale, Tullow Road, Carlow and formerly of Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny, passed away on February 3rd, 2019, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.

Beloved wife of Anthony, much loved mother of James, William, Kathryn, John Paul and Chris and adored grandmother of Warren Lee and Eire Harper

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Barrack St., from 3p.m on Tuesday with Prayers at 8p.m. Removal from there on Wednesday at 10.30a.m to The Holy Family Church, Askea, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11a.m. Burial afterwards in S.t Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
