Pat Minnock, died suddenly abroad on Saturday, 24th August, 2019. He will be deeply missed by his heartbroken wife Mary, children Kevin, Padraic and Clare, daughters-in-law and son-in-law, Rebecca, Niamh and Daryl, grandchildren Emma, Sean and Caoimhe, siblings Breda, Eilish, Pete, Marie, Colm and Bill, in-laws, extended family and many friends. Predeceased by his grandson Eoin.

May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his home (1 The Crescent, Castle Oaks, Eircode R93 X5Y2) on Saturday (August 31st ) from 2pm to 8pm and again on Sunday from 2pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Monday (September 2nd) at 11am in the Church of the Holy Family, Askea. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Family flowers only, please, donations in lieu to the Irish Heart Foundation.

Carmel GLEESON

Carmel Gleeson, (née Murphy) of Garryhundon, Ballybar Upper, Carlow and formerly of Wells, Bagenalstown, Co Carlow, passed away peacefully, under the loving care of the nurses and staff at The District Hospital, Carlow, on August 24th, 2019.

Beloved wife of the late Louis, and cherished sister of Imelda, Gabriel (Sonny), Kevin and the late Brendan, Patricia and Leo. She will be sadly missed by her loving brothers, sister, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncle, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Carmel Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Barrack St., Carlow from 4pm on Sunday with Prayers at 8pm. Removal from there on Monday at 10.30am to St Joseph’s Church, Tinryland, (via her residence) arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary (Maunie) Dunne (nee Byrne), of 14 Woodbrook Place, Green Lane, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on August 21st 2019, in the District Hospital, Carlow. Much loved wife of the late Paddy. Beloved mother of Sean, Brendan, Brian, Patrick, Michael and Liz. Adored grandmother of Scott and Sarah. Brother Tom and sister Noreen, son in law Fergus and daughters in laws Berine and Catherine. She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, grandchildren, relatives and her large circle of friends.

Sharon Dowling (nee Cashin) died August 20th suddenly. Youngest daughter of the late Peter and Madge Cashin, Pollerton Road and predeceased by her brother John. Beloved wife of Brendan and much loved mother of Neil, Dearbhla and Darragh. Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, sons, daughter, brothers Peter, Adrian, Alan, sisters Colette, Mary and Loreto, mother-in-law Mary, grandchildren Liam and Ruth, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Suzanne Holligan, of 81 Beechwood Park, Pollerton, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on August 19th 2019, in St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. Much loved partner of Dave, beloved mother of Rían and much loved and adored daughter of Tom and Nuala. She will be sadly missed by her loving partner, son, parents, aunts, uncles, grandmother, relatives, her large circle of friends and work colleagues.

Molloy, Francis, August 19th 2019, Carlow, formerly Synge St. Peacefully, after a short illness in the wonderful care of the staff in Hillview Nursing Home, Carlow. Beloved husband of Elizabeth, and much loved father to Francis, David, Geraldine and Pearse. Francis will be forever loved and sadly missed by his family, wife, sons, daughter, son-in-law, Francis, daughter-in-law Tracey, grandchildren Dylan, Niamh, Mercedes, Kasey, Róisín and Manus, great-grandchildren Emmet and Georgia, his brother William and sister Marjorie, extended family and friends.

Late of Meeltrane, Cloonfad, Ballyhaunis, Co. Roscommon. Roger passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of The District Hospital Carlow. Beloved husband of Grainne (nee Kennedy), adored father of Sean and Aislinn, much loved brother of Patricia, Eileen and Eugene and son-in-law of Theresa. Predeceased by his parents Ann and Martin. Deeply regretted by his loving family, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, kind neighbours and many friends.

Paddy McDermott died (peacefully) in the loving care of St. Monica’s Ward, St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin surrounded by his loving family following a long illness, fought with great courage and his usual good humour. Sadly missed by his wife Maria, son Dónall, daughter Kathleen, Dónall’s girlfriend Nehdia, sisters Miriam, Elizabeth, Clare and Thérese, brother John, mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
