God demonstrates His love toward us,

Love is patient, love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

1 Corinthians 13:4-5

Search high and low, scan skies and land, you’ll find nothing and no one quite like God.  The holy angels are i nawe before him; He looms immense and august over everyone around him.  God….who is like you, powerful and faithful from every angle?

Psalm 89:6-8

Ephesians 1:18-19

Real wisdom, God’s wisdom, begins with a holy life and is characterised by getting along with others.  It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and blessings, not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced.  You can develop a healthy, robust community that lives right with God and enjoy its results only if you do the hard work of getting along with each other, treating each other with dignity and honour.

James 3:17-18

He said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear.  For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.  Consier the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them.  Of how much more value are you than the birds!”

Luke 12:22-24

At the time, discipline isn’t much fun.  It always feels like it’s going aginst the grain.  Later, of course, it pays off handsomely, for it’s the well-trained who find themselves mature in their relationship with God.

Philippians 3:12-12

God is sheer mercy and grace; not easily angered, he’s rich in love…. He doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve, nor pay us back in full for our wrongs.  As high as heaven is over the earth, so strong is his love to those who fear him.  And as far as sunrise is from sunset, he has separated us from our sins.
