Patrick (Paddy) Reddy died (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the District Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Ann and much loved father of Seamus, Linda and John. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, brothers Noel, Seamus, Johnny and Tommy, sisters Mary and Frances, son-in-law Derek, Valerie, John’s partner Josie, grandchildren Derek, Mark, Chloe and Leah, great-grandchildren Taylor, Casey and Erica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his sister Kathleen

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow, on Monday from 3pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm. Prayers on Tuesday morning at 11am, followed by removal to St. Mary’s Cemetery for burial. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Friends of the District Hospital.

Colette passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving husband Jimmy, sons and daughters. Predeceased by her two sons David and Brian. Sadly missed by her sons and daughters Eamonn, Eleanor, Peggy, Paul, Ken, Gwen, Jimmy and Ashling, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Colette will be reposing at home (Eircode R93 P2 D5) from 4 p.m. Saturday (26th October.) with prayers at 8 p.m. Removal on Sunday morning (27th October) at 11 a.m. to St. Mary’s Church Bennekerry, arriving for Mass at 11.30. Interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Lyons (Ballybar Lower, Carlow) Josephine (Josie) 20th Oct. 2019, (peacefully) at her home: beloved wife of the late John, much loved mother of Betty and the late Mona and adored grandmother of Patrick, Bryan, Niall, Josephine and Brendan. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, sons-in-law Jimmy and Paddy, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home in Ballybar from 4pm on Monday and all day Tuesday until prayers at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday at 10.15am to St. Joseph’s Church, Tinryland, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed afterwards by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Dearly loved husband of Marie and much loved father of Darren, Jason and Dawn. Predeceased by her brothers Jimmy and Lesley.

The death has occurred of Edward (Ted) Lawless, Aberdeen, Scotland, and formerly of Bramble House, Tinryland, Carlow and Ballinagar, Ballylinan, Co. Laois died unexpectedly after a brief illness on the 3rd of October 2019. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Deirdre, his children Eleanor and Brian, his son-in-law Gary and daughter-in-law Elin, his much adored grandchildren Pippa, James, Charlotte and Alex. Ted will be deeply missed by his brothers Michael, Jack (Willie), Dominic and his sisters Rita, Mary, Geraldine and Clare, his brothes and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
