Mary Keating, July 29th 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by her husband Bernard, son Patrick and daughter Mary. Sadly missed by her loving sons Bernard, Willie, Sean, John-Joe, Kevin and Oliver, daughters Marie, Colette, Martina, Geraldine, Majella and Annette, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Funeral Mass for family will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11am in the Church of the Holy Family, Askea, Carlow (max 50) followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.


Séamus BYRNE 140 J.K.L Avenue, Carlow Town, Carlow

Séamus Byrne, July 21st 2021 (peacefully) at home, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Nancy and much loved father of Dan, Eugene, Jimmy, Marian, Ann-Marie, Geraldine, Philip, Lilian and David. Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his 29 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews Pat and Raymond, niece Elaine, relatives, former FCA and ONE comrades and friends. Predeceased by his grandson Daniel Butler.

Donal Butler, Kingswood, Pollerton, Carlow, July 11th 2021 at University Hospital, Waterford after a long illness, bravely fought, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly beloved husband of Fiona, much loved father of Gavin and adoring grandfather of Lee and Ellie. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, son, brother Sean, sisters Marie and Clare, Gavin’s partner Clodagh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his right hand man John, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Lorraine Tait of No 2 The Par 3, Quinnagh, Mortarstown, Carlow and formerly of Glasgow, Scotland and Annagry, Donegal, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on July 2nd, 2021, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin.

Beloved Partner of Gary, much loved mother of Katie and Hugh, adored grandmother of Jessica, cherished daughter of Sadie and Kenny and loved sister of Patsy.

She will be sadly missed by her loving partner, son, daughter, parents, grandchild, son-in-law Rory, daughter-in-law Michelle, sister, brother-in-law, uncle Barney, aunty Ann, nephew Christopher, niece Louise, cousins, relatives and friends.

Lorraine’s Funeral Mass will take place in The Holy Family Church, Askea, on Tuesday at 11am and will be followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Myles Kehoe, Sharon Avenue, Brownshill Road, Carlow (Retired Brennan’s Butchers) July 1st 2021, in the exceptional care of SignaCare, Killerig in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Rose and much loved father of Breda Galvin (Listowel, Kerry) and Anne Gleeson (Tipperary). Sadly missed by his loving daughters, sons-in-law John and Frank, grandsons Jack, Conor, Mark, Evan and Bryn, sister Joan, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
