John (Johnny) CARROLL Ballyloo, Tinryland, Carlow

John (Johnny) Carroll, died March 19th 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by his sisters Peg, Bridie and Mary (Whelan) and by his brother Bill (Essex,UK) in February. Sadly missed by his sorrowing brother Tom (London), nephews, nieces, great neighbours, relatives and friends.

Peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, pre-deceased by her husband Michael and daughter Michelle; deeply regretted and remembered with love by her daughter Catherine, sons Tom and John, sisters Maeve and Phyllis, brother-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, adored grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May June Rest In Peace.

June’s funeral cortege will leave her home on Tuesday at 10.30a.m. on her journey to St. Joseph’s Church, Tinryland for a private family Funeral Mass at 11.00a.m. (max. 10 people in church) followed by private cremation. Should neighbours and friends wish to line the route from McArlde’s Cross to St. Joseph’s Church, they may do so in a safe and socially distanced manner.


Sinead Conry, Seven Springs, Tullow Road and “Avila”, Chapelstown, Carlow

Sinead Conry, Seven Springs, Tullow Road and “Avila”, Chapelstown, Carlow died March 11th 2021 at home. Dearly loved mother of Laura and cherished daughter of Michael J. and the recently deceased Marita.

Sinead will be lovingly remembered; she was a talented singer, actor and golfer, had great organizational skills, and a caring and loving nature.

Sadly missed by her loving daughter, father, brothers Niall, Barry, David and Derek, sister Caroline, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, Gillian, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends.

May Sinead rest in peace.


Rose SCULLY (née Kemple)8 Burrindale, Pollerton, Carlow / Moylough, Galway

Rose Scully née Kemple, died March 11th 2021 (peacefully) in the loving care of Beechwood Nursing Home, Leighlinbridge.

Retired SRN, Crumlin Children’s Hospital. Predeceased by her parents John and Peggy Kemple and her sister Margaret Dunleavy.

Dearly beloved wife of Des.

Rose will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, brothers Dominic (Moylough), Tony (Moydow), Fintan (Carnew), sisters Mary Farrell (Bailieborough), Anne Scully (Boston), Noreen Donnellan (Moylough), Bríd Kemple (Dublin), Bernie Kemple-Lynch (Boyle), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Mary Fennelly, née McNally of 45 O’Hanrahan Avenue, Carlow, passed away peacefully, on March 3rd, 2021, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Beloved wife of the late Jim, much loved mother of Ann, Pat, Marie, James and the late John.
She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, son-in-law Thomas, daughters-in-law Angie and Michelle, sisters-in-law, extended family, relatives, good friends and neighbours.
