Pat Cooney died September 27th 2020 at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin following a brave battle. (Retired Braun). Dearly loved husband of Bridget and much loved father of Donna, Colin and Jamie. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, daughter, sons, adored grandchildren Ryan, Rylee and Mason, brother Billy, sister Ann, Donna’s partner Peter, Colin’s partner Jola, Jamie’s partner Brittany, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11am for family and close friends in The Church of the Holy Family, Askea followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Jacqueline Meaney (née James) Moorcroft, Rathcrogue, Carlow

Jacqueline Meaney

In the loving care of the staff of Tallaght University Hospital. Adored wife of Pat, mother of Jane and Anne Marie and loving grandmother to her eight grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, her brother Joseph and sister Caroline. Sadly missed by her brothers Paul, Philip and John, her sisters Ursula, Marian, Deborah and Michelle, uncles, aunts, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May She Rest In Peace.

Following HSE guidelines, repose will take place at her home on Monday 28th September from 4pm, for family and friends concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal will take place on Tuesday at 1-30pm to arrive at St Joseph’s Parish Church, Tinryland for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Burial will take place thereafter in Lismaconly Cemetery, Myshall.

Frank Corden (Retired Irish Sugar R&D) died September 24th 2020 (peacefully) in the loving care of the District Hospital. Beloved husband of Mary and much loved father of Catherine, Bryan, Fiona, Richard and the late Andrew. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, brother Jimmy, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his 9 grandchildren, great-grandchild, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Caroline (Cara) McKiernan died September 14th 2020 (peacefully) at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, formerly of Tullow. Sadly missed by her loving sons Darryl and Michael, daughter-in-law Tara, Michael’s partner Amber, grandson Donagh, brothers and sisters P.J, Jimmy, Anto (RIP), Breda (RIP), Joe, Marie, Noel, Chris, Tina and Ger, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Mary Mealey died September 5th 2020 (peacefully) at her son Mick’s home, surrounded by her loving family in her 90th year, formerly of Castlehill. Predeceased by her husband William and son George; much loved mother of Willie, Pat, Mick, Catherine, Anne (Anna) and Olive. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Jack Brennan (Retired Armer Salmon, Carlow) of Millview, Paupish, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on September 4th, 2020, at his home.

Beloved husband of Betty, much loved father of Mick, Tom, Marian, John, Liz, Georgie and the late Maurice and cherished brother of Molly and the late Mickey, Murt, Jimmy and Betty.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, his 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends, especially his grand-daughter and special friend Stephanie.
