Tammy RYAN

Tammy Ryan, nee Warner, lost her battle after a brief illness on June 27th 2020 (peacefully) at University Hospital, Waterford aged 32 years. Dearly loved wife of Eoin and much loved mammy of Tadhg, Tara and Luke. Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, children, parents Kevin and Paula, brothers Wayne and Karl, sisters Jacinta, Lana and Seana, mother-in-law Anne and her partner Pat, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning for family and close friends with a maximum of 50 allowed at 11am in The Church of the Holy Family Askea, Carlow followed by cremation.

Sarah (Sadie) CALLINAN (née Coyne) Pollerton, Carlow

Sarah (Sadie) CALLINAN

Sarah (Sadie) Callinan died unexpectedly at University Hospital, Waterford. Beloved wife of Joe and much loved mother of Dermot and Bernadine. Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughter, brothers, sisters, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren Charlotte, Elizabeth, Kieran and Joseph, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

In accordance with Government directives and in the interest of public health a private funeral Mass and cremation will take place.


Joe MATTHEWS 49 Highfield, Dublin Road, Carlow

Joe Matthews died June 14th 2020 (peacefully) in the loving care of Signa Care, Killerig. Reunited with his dearly missed and loved wife Susan and much loved father of Jude, Deirdre and Eoin. Sadly missed by his daughters, son, brother Richard, sisters Ann and Breda, son-in-law Hughie, daughter-in-law Emer, mother-in-law Mary, grandchildren Tommy, Rory, Danny, Louis and Theo, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his sisters Nellie and Mary.

In accordance with Government directives and in the interest of public health a private funeral Mass and burial will take place. The family would like to thank you for your co-operation and understanding at this most difficult time.

Joe will depart Highfield on Tuesday evening at 5.30pm on his final journey to the Cathedral. People are welcome to line the route to the church (via Green Lane) as the courtége passes whilst adhering to social distancing and keeping to government guidelines.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired in Joe’s memory to Carlow Day Care Centre or St. Fiacc’s House, Graiguecullen.

Muriel Flynn (née Nolan) Grangeford, Bennekerry, Carlow

Muriel died peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Relict of Brian and dear mother of Raymond and the late Martin. Deeply and deservedly regretted by her family, sisters Josephine, Marie, Frances and the late Margaret, daughter-in-law Paula, grandchildren Ciarán, Emer, Aoife and Cathal, sisters-in-law Kathleen, Madge and Florence, relatives and friends.

Due to government advice on public gatherings, a private funeral will take place. Muriel’s funeral Mass will be streamed live on www.tullowparish.com/our-parish/webcam on Sunday at 11 am. Funeral courtége will pass through Mill Street on Saturday evening at 6.45 pm and people are welcome to line the route whilst adhering to social distancing. Donations in lieu of flowers to Cairdeas center.

Mary Hanlon died June 9th 2020 in the loving care of Signa Care, Killerig. Beloved wife of the late Lar and mother of the late Des; predeceased also by her son-in-law Jim Mallon. Sadly missed by her daughters Pauline and Colette, brother Eamonn, grandchildren Colm and Sinead, great-granddaughter Aoife, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Marie Bermingham 16 Kernanstown, Bennekerry, Carlow

Marie passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday 4th June 2020. Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy. Deeply regretted by her sons Tom and Pat, daughters Mary, Bridie, Catherine, Anna, Liz, Ellen and Marie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, Partners, 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
