Siobhán Power of Ballinacarrig, Quinagh and Clonagh, Ballickmoyler, Carlow, passed away after a short illness on June 19th, 2019, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved daughter of James and Esther and much loved sister of Colleen, Niamh and James Jnr. She will be sadly missed by her loving parents, brother, sisters, aunts, uncles, relatives, carers and friends.

Reposing at her home, Ballinacarrig, Quinagh, Carlow (Eircode R93 X8H7), on Friday from 2p.m with Prayers at 8p.m. Removal on Saturday at 10.30a.m to St Abban’s Church, Killeen arriving for Funeral Mass at 11a.m. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Erick CALDERON VAZQUEZ

Erick (The Mexican) Calderon Vazquez of 56 Burrin Manor, Tullow Rd., Carlow and formerly of Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on June 17th, 2019, at his home

Beloved son of Claudia and Sergio and much loved brother of Max and Jacqueline.

He will be sadly missed by his loving parents, brother, sister, girlfriend Shania, grandparents, relatives and his many good friends.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Barrack St., Carlow on Thursday from 3p.m with Prayers at 8p.m. Removal on Friday at 3.30p.m to The Holy Family Church, Askea arriving for Funeral Mass at 4p.m. Cremation Service will take place on Saturday in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin at 2p.m.

Sadly missed by her brother Jim, sisters in law Mercedes Pender and Ann Pender, nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.

Reposing in McGuill’s Funeral Home, Bennekerry (Eircode R 93 E5 N7) on Monday, the 17th June, from 5 p.m. with prayers at 8 p.m. Removal at 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Bennekerry, arriving for Mass at 11 a.m. Burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

MAY BRIDGET REST IN PEACE.


David COAKLEY formerly 110 Kevin Barry Avenue, Carlow Town, Carlow

David Coakley died suddenly on June 12th 2019. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Rose and brother Connie. Sadly missed by his partner, children, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Saturday (June 15th) from 2pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Sunday morning to the Church of the Holy Family, Askea to arrive for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to the Friends of University Hospital, Waterford.


Helen FITZHARRIS (née Drennan) Oak Park, Carlow Town, Carlow / Kildavin, Carlow / Paulstown, Kilkenny

Helen Fitzharris, Oak Park, Carlow (nee Drennan, Paulstown) died June 7th 2019 peacefully at the Hermitage Medical Centre, Dublin surrounded by her loving family. Sadly missed by her loving husband Jim, sons Jason and Clive, daughter-in-law Tara, grandsons Hugh, James and Ryan, brother Noel, sisters Breda, Margaret, Anne and Carmel, sister-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law Noel, Eugene, Kevin and Tommy, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and neighbours.

Kathleen Cross (nee Dillon) Main Street, Rathangan, Co. Kildare and formerly of Pollerton Road, Carlow. June 6th 2019 Peacefully in the loving care of the C.C.U. Unit Naas Hospital. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Jim, her daughter Angela, Son-in-law Anthony Lynch, grandchildren Stephen and Ellen, sister Angela Lacey (USA), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and large circle of friends including her friends in the Day Care Centre, Rathangan.

Reposing at her daughter Angela Lynch’s residence, Kildare Rd. Rathangan on Friday June 7th from 3 0′clock with rosary at 8 0′clock. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 10 0′clock in the Church of The Assumption Rathangan. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Rathangan.

Michael Denieffe died June 4th (suddenly) at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin. Beloved husband of Colette and much loved father of Michael, Sharon, Laura, Shane and Aisling. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, brother Greg, mother-in-law Mary Sunderland, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his 9 grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, cousins, uncles, work colleagues in Dooley Motors, relatives and friends.
